Can you tell I’m an empty nester spending my time digging through old photos when I get to missing my girl? Or maybe I was inspired by the 20th anniversary of one of my favorite childrens’ books, The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. Either way, a little bit of both ended up in my latest project, “BELIEVE”. This is a 6 panel display that I used for photos of our daughter when she was little and visited Santa. On the back, I included 3 of my favorite quotes from The Polar Express.

Created from 6 Cosmo Cricket Buck Naked Lacing Cards that measure about 5×7 each, this kit comes with gold bells, patterned papers, die cut chipboard and paper letters, 3 printed quotes, 2 tiny ornaments, 3 yards of twill, 2 yards of jute, burgandy pom pom trim, and a full sheet of die cut tags to make assembly easy.

quote was the inspiration for this “Spread Your Wings” mini album
and was created for my daughter after she left home to begin college.
However, it could be used to celebrate many other
milestones….beginning Kindergarten, becoming a mother or father,
getting married, entering the military, changing careers or beginning
a new job, just to mention a few that come to mind. It’s created
using the beautiful Laundry Line Collection from My Mind’s Eye
that can be both femine or masculine. The kit also comes with
a 1 ounce size bottle of Glimmermist from Tattered Angels.
